미국·대만·태국4-H 회원, 회원 가정 초청…농업기술센터 등 방문
 함평군 농업기술센터(소장 이향만)는 “전남4-H본부(회장 임재상)가 미국(美國 USA)·대만(臺灣 Taiwan)·태국(泰國 Thailand) 4-H 회원  9명을 회원 가정에 초청, 4일 함평군을 방문했다”고 밝혔다.
 이번 초청은 한국의 문화와 전통, 농업·농촌 체험기회를 제공하며 외국 4-H인들과 우의증진을 도모하고 4-H회원의 국제적 이해를 확대하기 위해 마련했다.
 방문단은 친환경농업을 선도하는 함평군을 방문해 농업기술센터에서 한국 농업의 발전상을 경험했다.

 또 체험학습장으로 인기를 끌고 있는 ▲양서파충류생태공원 ▲함평자연생태공원 ▲돌머리해수욕장 등을 둘러보고 다양한 체험을 실시했다.
 특히 이들 중 Taiwan(臺灣)에서 참가한 Feng, ya-han·Chen, hsin-yi 학생은 지난달 30일부터 오는 8일까지 함평영화학교(지도교사 강희주)에서 화훼산업화의 일환으로 국화분재 재배기술을 배우고 있다.
 풍아함 학생은 “이곳에서 배운 농업 기술을 고국에 돌아가 펼칠 수 있도록 열심히 공부하고 있다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
 이향만 농업기술센터 소장은 “이번 국제교환 초청훈련이 기대 이상의 성과가 있었다”면서 “앞으로 새로운 농업기술을 습득할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
 임재상 전남4-H본부 회장은 “한국4-H본부는 지난 1963년부터 국제교환훈련(IFYE)을 실시하고 있으며 꾸준히 함평군을 방문하고 있다”며, “함평군4-H본부 116명, 영화학교4-H 50명, 영농4-H 39명 등 총 205명의 회원이 활동하고 있다”고 밝혔다.(인력육성담당 박은하/주무관 심지승 320-2474)

 Hampyeong Agricultural Technology Center(Head Lee Hyang-man) said, "4-H members from the United States, Taiwan and Thailand, invited by Jeonnam 4-H Headquarters (President Jae Sang) and 9 family members visited Hampyeong on the 4th." 
 This invitation is designed to promote Korean culture, tradition, agriculture and rural experience, promote the development of foreign 4-H people, and expand the international understanding of 4-H members.
 The visiting team visited Hampyeong-gun, the leader of eco-friendly agriculture, and experienced the development of Korean agriculture at the Agricultural Technology Center.
 
 We also visited the Amphitheater Reptile Ecology Park, Hampyeong Nature Ecological Park, and Hanmori Beach, which have become popular as an experiential learning center.
 Among them, feng, ya-han, and chen, hsin-yi students from Taiwan participated in the cultivation technique of bonsai bonsai as part of flower industrialization in Hampyong Film School(4-H teacher of Kang Hee-joo) from 30th to 8th of last month is.
 "I am studying hard so that I can go back to my home country to learn the agricultural skills I have learned here," said Kwang-ah. 
 Head Lee Hyang-man, head of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "This international exchange invitation training was more than expected. We will actively support new agricultural technologies in the future."
